You must be thinking how can this work, Well believe me it does.

I was 15 and a half stone before i used the system, i have lost half a stone in just 2 weeks, and i can see the changes! i have lost some fat but not all.

The system wont work on its own, you need to eat healthy have at least 2 liters of water a day AND do some exercise, to see my results i did only 15 minutes a day. Everyones bodies are different and you may not get the same results as me, but you might get better ones!

I have been using ab belts for about 5 months now and saw this system, i saw it and thought "why not!" i bought it, It came fast. I then started to explore it and saw the manual. It does all sorts, it can massage. It can help with "pulled" muscles (which is great as i used it on my brother).

The system its self is easy to use, 40 minutes a day, but one thing i would suggest is playing around with the pads to try and get better muscle contractions.

The system is a but time consuming but is well worth it!

I am an addicted gym-goer; normal service is 5 days a week into the gym for a good session at 6:30am before work. Imagine my horror when after a hard winter of working out getting ready for the new cricket season I snap my fibula a couple of inches above the ankle in the first weekend of competition!

So bang goes mobility, independence and the ability top get down the gym. What was I going to do about it! Two choices, sit in front of the TV for 6-8 weeks and get progressively weaker and weaker and make my recovery period as long as possible or get pro-active and do something about it!

So after a week in cast I had already noticed a difference between my left and right (legs) I'd lost almost an inch in diameter already! So began the search for something I could use to try and keep the injured leg stimulated and as active as it possibly could be (in a non weight bearing cast!) so as to reduce my recovery period to as short as possible. I chanced upon the Bodi-tek Elite 2 on Amazon and was impressed with the customer score, despite thinking 80 quid seemed a bit to spend on a whim, and I'll freely admit to having been extremely cynical about pieces of equipment such as this in the past, but I thought what the hell!

So there I was waiting in anticipation of the delivery man ready to hop to the front door fast enough that he didn't give up and assume no one was in! First impression, the storage bag looks good quality and has everything packed into quite a compact space. Got all the kit out, impressed by how simple it all looked and was to get going i.e. Take the pads, wet them, apply to the area to be exercised, fasten with belt, plug in and choose your workout program! Simples! A word to the wise here though, I plugged it in and thought hmmmm can't feel anything here, whacked the strength up and almost kneed myself in the face with the muscle contraction! Lesson learned: - Increase machine strength gradually at all times!

So the workout, I was surprisingly impressed with the workout. It really does do a good job of contracting the muscle groups that it is applied to, sometimes you have to do a bit of rearranging position of the pads in order to ensure you get the best contraction but certainly not difficult. The workout program (enhance mode) started off fairly gently and graduated to some quite strong contractions that really make you grit your teeth! After using it for two consecutive 35 minute programs on different muscle groups I felt quite good considering I hadn't been to the gym for a couple of weeks by now, but I must say I hadn't actually broken a sweat.

Is this a replacement for a gym?.....no. I can't see this unit turning you into arnie even with prolonged use. Is it ideal for exercising certain muscle groups that you can't because you're incapacitated?......yes. And I'm sure with prolonged use it would help you tone up to a certain degree. One thing to bear in mind though, it might take you less time to get to the gym for a complete body workout than to try and use this machine. You can probably only do two sets of muscles at one time with the four sets of pads i.e. upper arms and upper legs, so 35 minutes later you can move the pads and do another 35 minutes of different a group. So after 70 minutes you've only really done 4 sets of exercises, with this machine whereas you could have got most of the way round the gym!

Overall though, thumbs up, well done Bodi-Tek!

this machine is of a high quality and it does all it says it does,it came quickly and was easy to set up and use so i am very happy with it and at a sale price i am even happier
