Norman McClaren is one of the leading figures in the genesis of animation. Together, his films form an intriguing whole that exhibits innovation and humanity in painstaking detail. McLaren’s work can be cited as a major influence upon the likes of Picasso, Francois Truffaut, Richard Linklater and even George Lucas.

This set includes unfinished films, tests, and 15 original documentaries. It also includes all of the artists surviving works, including NEIGHBOURS and PAS DE DEUX.
