1.0 out of 5 stars Not worth a title., 26 Dec 2008

I thought I'd write this review to bring the average rating down.
As with most of his reviews, I couldn't agree with T Clarke more. I'm sick of having this garbage rammed down my throat seemingly every month. Dave Pearce should find a hole and crawl into it so we never have to listen to his re-hashed, badly remixed, badly strewn-together, heard-a-million-times, waste of CD material TRIPE again.
It seems to me that as long as just-turned-teens keep lapping up this slothful series of albums, long will MoS continue to provide them.
Ministry: Come up with something new. Soon.

Can anyone confirm what the difference is between...

"Dave Pearce Dance Anthems"

"Dave Pearce Classic Anthems"

"Dave Pearce Classics"

"Dave Pearce Anthems 2008"

"Trance Classics: By Dave Pearce" ?

Same old albums with the same old songs. And even if you're a new dance fan, how can anyone complain that such criticism is un-justified? Theirs been that many 3-CD collections released over the past 3 years that you'd only need 2 albums to make a descent collection of the usual 1999 trance hits. It's tempting to think Dave is working for Ministry now!

As I've said before and I'll say again, just buy the original albums for the full experience. Mixing a 1996 acid-tripping song with that of a 1999 trance anthem, blended soulessly via a lap-top does no justice for the music, or for Dave Pearce's money grabbing reputation.
