It is no coincidence that Dan Lilker has pushed the boundaries of metal in three distinctly seminal acts, first as a founding member of Anthrax, then with Nuclear Assault, and here with Brutal Truth. Lilker and company led the charge of extreme grindcore for almost a decade before imploding due to inner-band clashes.
