My son gave his girlfriend an Unazukin for Christmas and I have found myself unexpectedly seeking her out for a chat (the doll - I always talk to the girlfriend because she's lovely).
I think it's about the happy little Unazukin, Russian doll type face. Also, she agrees with me (there's always a way to rephrase the question to get the desired result) and that's rare in this day and age and in this house full of teenage angst and then there are the aging parents etc. etc. - do I need to go on? Life is tough and this little doll is cute! Nuff said.

when my little niece was not feeling well, and have no interest in other things, i quickly came up with this doll for her. she suddenly light up as most times when a question is asked, the doll shakes her head, whether yes or no. to my niece who is in nursery, it appears to her that she is listening to her. even the grown ups were delighted that a toy like this is a good idea.
