3.0 out of 5 stars Quirky little thing..., 1 Jun 2006
By M. James "Tepidbroth" (UK) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
It's a strange little beast this. It's quite a small mouse, so either Fatal1ty has small hands or doesn't like big mice. After using my Logitech MX518 it feels a little incomplete and insubstantial. But it's fast - when you don't have the drivers. The drivers seemed to slow the mouse down and hinder it's performance. After un-installing them I found the mouse worked as it should. It's a little too fast for Windows itself (you can adjust the speed though), but comes into its own during a game. It's a very effect mouse while playing a First Person Shooter.

It loses 2 stars because of the drivers and it's smallness. It could have been a bit bigger so it's comfy to hold.

But for some reason it seems to fit while playing a game. It's like it becomes a different mouse altogether. It was clearly designed for FPSs and it performs this exceptionally well. Just don't bother with it if you're wanting a general Windows mouse.

(At the time of writing the drivers on the Creative website are the same as the ones on the supplied CD. If you buy this mouse try it with the drivers first. Maybe you'll have more luck than me. But I prefer it without them.)

1.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing , 12 Oct 2008

I would not recommend this mouse as it is neither comfortable to use as it is so small (It gave me terrible cramp in my hand after only a short time)and the 2 main buttons stopped responding properly after only a few months use at which point I gave up on it.
Also considering the price it has a disappointingly cheap feel to it too.

In short don't bother with this mouse as you'll regret it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Mouse Ever!, 6 May 2007
By Psychoham (London, UK) - See all my reviews
I've used a fair few mice in my many years of gaming, but this is without a doubt the best so far. Excellent response, lots of buttons and the new drivers from the Creative website are much better than the ones packaged with the mouse.

Highly recommended, give it a try, you wont be disapointed.
