5.0 out of 5 stars BUY THIS NOW!, 23 Jan 2006
a-ha are definitely back to their best with their latest release 'Analogue (All I Want)'. Taken from their new album 'Analogue' this track should provide a-ha with their highest chart position since their comeback 5 years ago.

This is a modern day pop/rock classic, exploiting Harket's vocals Waaktaar's guitar riffs and Furuholmen's songwriting skill to the max. You'll be a fool not to buy it. a-ha have always moved ahead of the times with their creative styles and have never been boxed into a corner. This single goes to prove that the trio have more to offer than many would give them credit for.

Expect more from these guys in '06. You won't be disappointed.

fantastic sound. Harket's voice gets better with age, brilliant lyrics as is with lots of a-ha's songs and a real energetic raw feel. The video is a great bonus too!!! bring it on boys!!

5.0 out of 5 stars A-ha - back on form and back in the charts!, 26 Jan 2006

(REAL NAME)
A-ha are (too) well known by THAT 80's No.1 single with the catchy tune and memorable video. Sadly, 'Take On Me' has also held A-ha back.
More recent albums like 'Lifelines' and 'Minor Earth Major Sky' have contained a more modern sound with leanings more towards rock than bland pop ballads. A-ha's well structured songs now reflect the lives of grown adults (love, loss, soul searching, reflection etc) rather than teenage angst.
Morten can still hit the high notes perfectly - whether live or in the studio. This track does have some leanings towards, dare I say it, U2. I mean that in a good sense as it rocks! Driving bass line, catchy chorus. Perhaps it was penned with an eye on the Top 40 or to obtain a bigger advance from the new label Universal....perhaps both. Either way - buy it now!
