4.0 out of 5 stars STREET FOOTIE FABULOUS, 20 Mar 2006
By A Customer
I Bought FIFA Street 2 on the 12TH of march and havent stopped playing it since. The rule the street mode is now split up in to 4 sections.Kick Abouts where you get put into a random team and play street matches. Then when your player rating gets to 40 you get to create a team(TEAM CAPTIN)and also you get to create a PITCH which is a great feature. Then when your squad rating gets to 80 you get to enter the Underground leauge where the best players in the world play for the title of Street champions and the 4th and final section is international where you get to play for your national team.Create a Player is better,Create a Team is better and all the teams where official shirts for their countries.IF YOU LIKED THE FIRST THEN BUY THIS ONE

4.0 out of 5 stars Worth buying, 14 Mar 2006
By A Customer
I bought Fifa Street 2 on sunday and i was impressed. Its different from the previous version.

Theres great things like more national teams with authentic kits and badges. Theres also a lot more to do like skill challenges and buying rewards.

However, when the players are running with turbo they look like they've been bitten or something. I also think they've gone a little ott with the amount of skill during matches but thats whats in street football.

I would buy it but dont expect it to be perfect for what your looking for

4.0 out of 5 stars Very entertaining, 12 Mar 2006
By A Customer
I loved FIFA Street, so when I heard they are making FIFA Street 2, I thought "Brilliant! Can't wait"

When you first play it, you will defiantly get frustrated cause you are not new to the controls (I have to admit it's quite confusing) The thing is that this time round you got loads of different controls to perform quality tricks, while when you first play the game, you need to unlock tricks from the trick book by spending your skill bills which you can earn playing a friendly match or RTS (Rule the Street) to perform good tricks or you'll just using the same boring trick again & again.

RTS mode has more depth than last version (I still preferred the previous version)
You can create up to 8 players (including GKs) & you can upgrade their attributes without playing in RTS.
You can create your own pitch.
Your keeper can come out & play as an outfield player.
You can barge players rather than just slide tackle.
You can juggle whilst playing a match (showoff really)

You have 16 retired legend players like; Beckenbauer, Cantona, Sanchez, Batesi, Gascoigne, Zico, Hagi, Brehme, Koeman, Krank, Alberto Torres, Voller, Boniek, Abedi Pele & Papin to use from.
You also get unknown streetballers to use too.

The gamebreaker system has changed, instead of firing a cannon blast from anywhere you want once you have earned the gamebreaker, you have to jog back to the centre of the pitch (where a big circle appears) to activate the gamebreaker. You then have 2 choices, either take a shot at goal or use your tricks to beat your opponents, the more you beat the more rewarding you get but you must remember you also have a time limit, if you fail to score then you'll get nothing e.g.
Score a goal = 1 goal
Beat 1 player + score a goal = 1 goal for yourself & -1 goal for your opponent
Beat 2 players + score a goal = 2 goals for yourself & -1 goal for your opponent
Beat 3 players + score a goal = KO (you win no matter what the score is)
If you get intercepted just when you are about to shoot, the gamebreaker will be lost

There are obviously some minor disadvantages like;
- players seems to be quite dim cause your own teammates seems to just stand in your way when you are about to shoot
- when you successfully tackled someone the ball will more likely to just roll to your opponents feet (roughly 80% of the time)
- you can't edit any sportswear colours like an Adidas shirt colour stays permanent & there's not much Nike sportswear (apart from shoes & national shirts)
- players fall on the ground like idiots when being nutmegged (it's like a backwards roll)
- uncool looking logos (it's like it has been designed by a 6yr old)
- achieving 5 combos to obtain a gamebreaker seems to be confusing, if you perform 5 different tricks in a row you are not guaranteed a gamebreaker or it would say you only did x2 combos...

If you liked the first FIFA Street then you should be quite entertained with this one (bit challenging but hey) Of course if EA are planning to make FIFA Street 3 they should consider some changes
