So much has been said about the original girl group of the 80"s. The thing is that both the 80's and 90's are long over. Look on the floor(hynotic tango) is a far cry from their days of formula music. This song is so different from what they have done, it deserves so much recognition. Capital FM and both BBC 1 & 2 gave this single RAVE reviews but unfortunately never played it.
Don't let this deter you. This is a top notch song with remixes to match. Solasso does the top honors among the Soulseekerz. The song peeked at # 26 on the offical charts but this really doesn't show what position could have been reached if there would have been more airplay.
I wholeheartedly reccomend this song--all versions including the DVD single. Hear and watch the genius of Bananarama. I LOVE this song and so will you!!!!

Keren & Sara look and sound better than they did in the 80's, and that's saying a lot!!! "Look on the Floor" is a great follow up to their last hit "Move in my direction". Smooth, sexy, and non-forced, unlike much club stuff today. The remixes are excellent, which is rare these days-- remixes over the last 10 yrs DESTROY songs. Sollasso & Angel city pump up the song beautifully. I'm looking forward to DRAMA, the full length CD.

Since 1981, Bananarama have released over thirty singles in the UK but we have had to wait until 2005 for what is their strongest outing to date.

Whilst it sounds unlike anything they have ever produced, 'Look on the Floor' brilliantly manages to capature the essence of the group. The laid back groove of the verses provide a subtle intro - the chorus however, will lift you into a psychadelic dance orbit. Genius.

Buy a copy now - this is, without doubt, the record of the year.
