I liked the series on TV and got the first DVD ages ago. This DVD release has been put back time after time and now it's here I find its running time is 178 mins!

According to Amazon Volume 1 was 200 mins (though the copy I bought lists a running time of 168 mins) and Volume 3 will be (see Amazon for details) 200 mins.

They all claim to have 8 episodes on them. With differneces of between 10 and 30 minutes between volumes (which equates to half to one and a half episodes)
how can this be? CAVEAT EMPTOR!
