So - after a series of extended EPs and reissues this is the first proper studio album by the mighty Japanese Rock & Roll monster that is Electric Eel Shock. And it doesn't dissapoint.

From the crazyness of Beat Me to the superb finishing moments of the Iron Man cover (think FASTER & FUNKIER) this is the sound of a band trying to take the sheer energy of the EES live show and keep it still long enough to put on CD.

Yes the lyrics are a little strange, yeah the tunes are fairly simple, but after a couple of listens the only thing you will be wondering is why you didn't buy it sooner and why they aren't plastered on every music magazine across this land. It's pop music, it's rock music, and it's unmistakably Electric Eel Shock.

!!DOUBLE PEACE!!

just got this album and it's the first EES i've got.i was expecting a lot from these guys and i was not disapointed.it's a really fun rock 'n' roll album with more energy than a 5 year old who bathes in red bull every night.their lyrics are totally weird but cool. i've heard they're great live so i'm gonna try an seem 'em.
