5.0 out of 5 stars The best Limp Bizkit one yet, 11 Nov 2003
By ChloeS (Newbury, UK) - See all my reviews
I'm not normally a fan of Limp Bizkit stuff cos it's a bit heavy for me, but I must say I was thoroughly surprised to hear this one, and find out it's none other than Fred Durst and co.! You can really hear the great SINGING voice of Fred, and the gentle background really makes a change from their previous stuff (My Way, Rolling etc etc.) This is a fab song, and a Limp Bizkit record that I will 100% be buying! If you like hardcore LB then you may not like this, but I'm pretty sure you will! Buy it now!!!!

4.0 out of 5 stars Who's up for Limp Bizkit?, 19 Nov 2003
This single is a fine example of how a band deadset in their genre can experiment outside of the genre with good effect. 'The Who' firstly released this, and the layout is nearly the same, with the drummer (in this case, John Otto) not doing anything until the 2nd half. But LB have altered the second half, giving DJ Lethal chance to show his scratchin' skills off.

The song, basically, is acoustic guitar and vocals. Fred Durst uses his much under-rated singing tones to good effect, so much that you wouldn't think it was him singing.

If you are hardcore thrash metal, this is a no-no. If you hate LB, you might just like this though!

It will be interesting to see where his charts...

4.0 out of 5 stars a magical reworking of a classic song, 19 Nov 2003
This song is one in the eye for all those who care to dismiss limp bizkit as idols for adolescent schoolboys who want to vent their rage, all those who said fred durst was just an angry little kid, with no musical talent. If their previous efforts with classic songs such as "no sex", "take a look around" and "nookie" didnt persuade them that they were wrong, then this one will, a real pleasure to hear great innovative muscicians sounding their talent on the airwaves. Fred... "sed nuncan literate"... well done, a musical genuis.

4.0 out of 5 stars Its not that bad, really...
I am not usually a Limp Bizkit fan. Tends to be a bit noisy for my tastes. I heard the two versions back to back on the 5FM Top 40 chart (the original and re-release). Read more
