The Australian pop group led by Russell Hitchcock and Graham Russell dominated early-'80s AM radio in the U.S. with their soft, romantic ballads. Unlike many of their peers, though, they had a gift for genuinely memorable, melodically substantive songs. Main writer Graham R. handily mixed MOR with a Paul McCartney/classic-pop influence to turn out the likesof "Lost in Love" and countless others. He and Hitchcock traded off on lead vocals (often within the same song) in a totally organic, seamless way that became a trademark. This collection features smashes like the aforementioned "Lost in Love", "All Out of Love", and "The One That You Love" (are you sensing a lyrical thread here?), but also delves a bit deeper into the Air Supply story by offering such items as their cover of the Badfinger classic "Without You" and much more.

This is one of the greatest cd that I have purchased in amazon and I don't regret buying it. Air Supply is one of the best duo that Australia has ever produced. The voice of Graham Russell and Russell Hitchcock will definitely sooth you.

The songs in this cd are excellent. It includes all their huge hits and it even includes the songs that are not even released as a single (from 1980 - 2001). This is one of the cd's that I want to listen again and again and never tired of hearing. The sound quality are even better than the others that I have heard. It even relieves my stress after a long day at work (I just got this cd today and I listen to it straight away) and gives me a warm feeling just to listen to it.

The songs in this cd includes some of Graham Russell's own composition like The One That You Love, Sweet Dreams, Young Love and Now & Forever. Some are songs that are recorded by other artists like What Becomes of the Broken Hearted, Without You and the Power of Love. But even though it was recorded and popularised by others, they sang it great. I can't even choose a favorite in their songs because all of them are great ballads/lovesongs.

This cd is value for money. You can buy it for less than the amount of some other expensive cd's they sell in the shops and you've got an outstanding double cd of brilliant songs from a great duo. So don't let this cd slip through your fingers or you just might regret it. What are you waiting for.... buy it now!!!

Air supply were much bigger in America, where they had a string of big hits, than in Britain, where they had just two hits - All out of love made number eleven and Even the nights are better was a minor hit. Both of those made the top five in America, as did Lost in love, Every woman in the world, The one that you love, Here I am, Sweet dreams and Making love out of nothing at all. They had other hits in America too, including Two less lonely people in the world, Young love (an original song, not a cover of the rock'n'roll classic) and Just as I am, all included here.

Their last American hit was Power of love, the song that was originally a massive hit in several European countries for Jennifer Rush (including number one in Britain where it charted at the same time as a completely different song with the same title by Huey Lewis) and was later an American hit for Laura Branigan. Celine Dion revived the song in the nineties and had a huge hit with it in both Britain and America.

All the above-mentioned hits can be found on the first CD of this collection. The second CD includes the best of the rest of their music, showing that there was more to Air Supply's music than just the hits.

For those of you that enjoy romantic pop music, this collection should be just ideal. Fans of Bread in particular should enjoy this.

This Cd is only for those who like Air supply and their songs. All their great songs are included in this CD. It contains the legendary songs 'Lost in Love' and 'Making love out of nothing at all', the lovely tunes of 'Taking a Chance' and 'All Out of Love', and their latest work like 'Goodbye'. Some of the new songs on the second CD are not much but, this CD is a mater piece and a must have.
