I have been a fan of Modern Talking for years now and after listening to this album I have come to the conclusion that they just get better as time goes on !! The music has really been bought up to date and sounds fantastic. Whenever I play this album to my friends, they too think it's great and can't believe it's Modern Talking.

Unfortunately, their success in the UK hasn't been too good following their hit, Brother Louis back in the 80's. All the time they are producing albums like this someone somewhere is bound to notice sooner or later. This album truly deserves to be a big hit, I can't stop playing it. Fantastic Stuff !!

Yes, the 10th album does rank high amongst Modern Talking albums, as it was mentioned previously. I would say "Year of the Dragon" is the best, closely followed by "Brother Louis" and "America". "America" is somewhat lighter than "Year of the Dragon", and, sadly, it is also much less refined compare to "Brother Louis" and "The First Album". The rhythm/beat is very heavy (heaviest ever), however is not overwhelming.

VERDICT: IT IS VERY GOOD!

This, their 10th, certainly ranks amongst one of the best albums to come from Modern Talking. (Personally it is only bettered by "Year of the Dragon") This contains all new material rather than some of the more recent remixes of previous releases and reaches the usual high standard that one comes to expect from these guys. Although the music is instantly recognisable as being Modern Talking, there is a different feel to some of the tracks, as though they are perhaps trying to reach a wider audience with a new sound. To sum up WE LOVE IT and can't wait for the next 10 albums - the CD has yet to be removed from the CD player!

This album has everything you need from 'Modern Talking'. The first track, 'Win the Race', has to be the best track on the album. It was a hit in several european contries. Read more
