3.0 out of 5 stars If you like really tacky horror - you'll love this!, 27 Jan 2001
By A Customer
The plot: The refrigerator eats people. You can't really say much more than that. If you think about what kind of film you can get with a plot like that, it's got to be tacky. I love pointless horror, so with the killer fridge and completely ramdom lines such as "I am the waffle maker", I thought it was great. If you are looking for serious horror with a proper storyline (not just ramdom eatings), then this is not for you. But if you want comedy and watch it knowing how bad its going to be, you'll love it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Deliciously weird, 20 Aug 2005
This movie is simply strange. A heavy-handed "feminist" horror movie in which the kitchen appliances (mainly the fridge) revolt to keep the main characters enslaved in the kitchen. Actually, that sounds better than this movie is... but if you are in the right mood and have secured enough stimulants or hallucinatory pharmaceuticals, then GAME ON!
