5.0 out of 5 stars Great!!, 17 Mar 2002
Doing an old school floridian death metal in the style of bands like Deicide, Morbid Angel, Monstrosity etc, Malevolent Creation is one of the best known bands in the genre. Great drumming work (made by Nile drummer Derek Roddy) with very fast double-bass kicks, excellent soundwriting and a perfect production makes this album a must-have if you can call you a deathster!!

4.0 out of 5 stars Last of the old school, 23 April 2004

Malevolent Creation's 5th album continues the return to form of previousalbum Eternal. This was the last album for vocalist Jason Blachowicz(though thankully none of the more overt racist lyrics of the previousalbum slip through here), and producer Scott Burns. Typically grindingriffs and hyper-fast blastbeats all the way - this is straight down theline death metal. It takes a few listens to be able to pick out the hooksin the songs, but In Cold Blood emerges as one of Malevolent Creationsbetter albums. Scott Burns, Morrisound, brutal death metal - you'lleither be frustrated by Malevolent Creation sticking to their guns oradmire them for refusing to compromise.
