I recently purchased a copy of the IT Security Management Best Practice Handbook and I'm afraid that in my opinion it in no way resembles the product description displayed on the Amazon site.

The description describes the book as "A professional technical roadmap to designing, implementing & operating IT Security Management" however it's little more than a collection of PowerPoint slides, some of which are barely legible, with what appear to be presenter's notes (there are even entries along the lines of "make sure participants understand that Service Level Management is...." ). The remainder of the book is made up of very generic document templates.

In summary my personal view is that the book resembles the output from a school project, and not the "professional technical roadmap" described, and certainly not worthy of the £[] price tag.
