Product Description

Why proper coffee? Because often it's the small things, such as offering proper coffee to customers and clients, that get a business noticed, and create a lasting impression and worthy reputation. Turgid business tomes abound. As an alternative, Hugh Williams, award-winning chartered accountant and business adviser, offers a personal approach to the simple ways in which a small business can win over customers and grow, without working that much harder.

This review is from: Proper Coffee and Other Ways to Grow Your Business: Simple Steps for Improving Profitability (Paperback)
I had never heard of this book before but came across it on amazon by searching for "grow business". The book is a gem! It consists of about 100 ideas, each explained in about a page. The style is clear, plain, and down to earth. The content is 100% practical and well suited to people running small businesses. I have just read the book in a couple of hours and have come away with a score of points that I intend to apply to my own business. It is wonderfully refreshing to come across a business book so sensible, so obviously rooted in experience, and so lacking in hype and glitz!
