5.0 out of 5 stars disappointed vegetarian in France, 9 May 2002
By steve@thedennisfamily.co.uk (Poynton, Cheshire, UK) - See all my reviews
I cannot find a published date for this book. I think however that it is not too recent judging on the entries for Paris.

Myself and my Wife visited Paris in early May 2002. Being commited vegetarians, and having visited France before, we knew that to eat in restaurants would not be easy, but looked forward to visiting some of the establishments in the book. Our optimism was not founded however. We found that the vegetarian only entries we visited were no more, and all the others - claimed to be vegetarian fiendly - but did not have any vegetarian meals. We did however find a vegetarian restaurant not featured in the book!

My recommendation is not to buy this book - it is outdated, inaccurate and not worth buying.
