Product Description

Product Description

This book contains 101 puzzles, arranged in sections of increasing difficulty: 20 easy, 30 medium, 30 hard and 20 very hard. For those new to Sudoku, the book also explains the puzzle in more detail, and includes hints on how to solve your first Sudoku. With practice, an easy puzzle might be solved in as little as 10 minutes, while a very hard puzzle may occupy even the accomplished Sudoku-er for more than an hour! The solutions of all puzzles are provided in the back of the book.

From the Publisher

Sudoku has become a phenomenon in the UK, with more and more people becoming addicted to this logic puzzle.

First published in a New York maths puzzles and logic problem magazine in the late 1970s, Sudoku (also written Su Doku, and pronounced "suu-doe-koo") is a popular number puzzle based on a very simple idea: the use of clues and logic to place numbers into 81 squares in a 9 x 9 grid.

Dubbed by some as the Rubik’s cube of the 21st century, it has fans around the world, and is featured daily in some of the world’s largest newspapers.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent puzzles, 18 Oct 2005
These puzzles are really addictive. I bought a few of sudoku books, and this one is the best. There's a good variety of puzzles, from easy to very hard. The square book means that the book itself is small for carrying around, while the puzzles fill the page and are plenty large enough to do. The paper quality is better than most other sudoku books, which means you don't go through onto the other side.
