5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent overview of Windows 7, 24 Sep 2009
By David Jones - See all my reviews

This is an excellent overview of the main features of Windows 7 and contains hundreds of tips and tricks. In addition it is pleasing that Rough Guides have produced a balanced book including details of Firefox and I Tunes rather than just focussing on the options provided by Microsoft.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent book. Everything you need to know in a nutshell., 21 Oct 2009
By A. Lee (London, UK) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
This is a brilliant guide to Windows 7. I'm not an expert but could follow it really well and it gave me some useful new ideas. Like the previous reviewer I like the way that it doesn't just focus on Microsoft products. It's well written, easy to understand and manages to be comprehensive without being too technical.

2.0 out of 5 stars Broad but superficial, 3 Nov 2009
By Mr. N. Moffatt (Cardiff, Wales) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
It was not clear from the information or reviews exactly what is offered here. It is a mix of general Windows help and some Windows 7 specifics. But dealt with very lightly. The new Windows features can be gleaned from the book in a very short time and you are left feeling short changed. Or at least I was.
