This book gives a good general introduction to robotics and covers some important topics in much more detail. A lot can be learnt from this book, but it is nor perfect, it uses programming examples for a specific micro-controller, the circuit diagram for the analogue controlled robot does not appear to work (perhaps it is dependant on getting exactly the parts specified, which isn't easy!), etc. So, in summary, a good book, with some flaws.

This book contains loads of useful information, the only problem is obtaining the exact parts, I've never been able to locate somewhere to buy the kit for the rug warrior, which you are meant to be able to buy. This book is helping me a lot with my degree course - Cybernetics at Reading.
