A magic charm stops her from sleeping and this drains her mother, the Queen Butterfly, of all her energy. The Queen becomes very ill and the fairies fear for her life. Flamingo Dragonfly is sent with a message of help to Fairy Grandmother. "Butterfly Lullaby" is not just a fairy story: Songs - Buy the songs to go with the story. Photographs - Become one of the characters. Have your photograph taken in costume or send in your image. This will be transformed to fairy art. Visit real places from the story - Plantasia, Swansea, Wales - Castell Coch, Cardiff, Wales - Upper Wishing Well, Weymouth, Dorset. One pound per book sale goes to the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

My wife and I bought this book for our 7 yr old daughter, she loves it. The story is beautiful, the other nice thing about this book is that the illustation shows real children dressed up as fairies with stunning back drops and not cartoon type illustration which would have probably been easier. my daughter cant wait for the next fairy book from this very talented lady !! maybe the next J.K.Rowling

I really want people to know who are reading this that you will not be disappointed by this amazing book! What a labour of love, incredibly timeless book for all ages. All my children love it and have their own personal copies; its a great way of encorouging children to read. I hope very much that Sharon Bainbridge will recieve many accolades for her marvellous work,her website is also really magical!

This is a lovely fairytale story which brings a tear to your eye when you hear the soundtrack on the slideshow by great songwriter Ace. The author has not only written a great story but she has an amazing way with colour.This book is not only a must have for adults and children but its an inspiration for all us artists everywhere. I'm looking forward to this major new film and expect to see this book sold out completely within the year.
