I bought this book last Christmas, and what an enthralling book it is, filled with short stories, covering a wide range of settings & events in history.

I would say this would appeal more to a local (I was born there) but a non local would still find it a very interesting read.

Being able to visualise some of the places she writes about is a fairly big aid though.

I feel I must say a big "Thank You" to Pamela Brooks for her very readable Book called "Norwich Stories of a City". Every Norfolk person should be interested in such a Book - its very factual - but easy to read. I have really enjoyed reading this book. Also I feel that this Book should be in every Norfolks school library as its about the past and one of two chapters of today. I shall be looking out for any of her Books in the future. Thank you once again for a very good read.
