2.0 out of 5 stars Sorry, but this isn't a great book, 19 May 2006
By D. Ratcliffe "bookwormdaz" (Manchestershire) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
I got this book as a newcomer to ASP.NET 2.0 XML. It gets two stars as it has helped me learn how to form an XML document using C# which is the Authors chosen language.

However, the examples are often long and confusing and difficult to understand. The coverage of XSD validation is pretty non-existent and despite reading it twice I am still non-the-wiser.

SOAP XML Web Services are covered, but it would also have been nice to see non-SOAP web services covered, as that is the unfortunate situation I am in!!

Don't like to leave a negative read, but it has been a bit of a waste of money for me!
