Product Description

Product Description

This title is an appeal for change - change to hearts and minds in order to dispel what the Church leaders of Merseyside describe as "the poisonous legacy of a complicated past". Nicholas Fralying concludes that nothing less than full-hearted sorrow and repentance by Britain can bring abot the conditions from which lasting peace and reconciliation can grow.

(TOP 1000 REVIEWER)    (REAL NAME)
Anyone who has had the fortune to listen to Dr Frayling either in pulpit or casually will have no doubt been swayed by the calmness of his voice and beauty of his choice of words.

Fortunately for those further afield, both of these qualities come across in this volume. Dr Frayling's personal experience in matters of Protestant-Catholic relations is invaluable and, at times, gives way to a little humour (especially when being mistaken for the late Dr Runcie).

All in all, if this book awakens the reader to think more actively than passively about forgiveness and the state of our own world, then Dr Frayling has succeeded. An excellent book.
