Great tracks from back in the day, wonderfully remixed. Really does breathe new life into the songs. My personal faves are Mass Production "Cosmic Lust" and Princess Freesia "Freesia". Well worth the price, and then some!

2013 has been a great year for old soul boys and soul girls. Joey Negro's immaculate remixes of fondly-remembered tunes from back in the day has given them a refreshing new lease of life. And this collection sits perfectly with Tom Moulton's Philly Re-Grooved Volume 3 and John Morales' M&M Mixes Volume 3 to complete a hat-trick of respectful and inspired remix CDs for 2013. Joey has chosen some under-played tunes as well as some more well-known, and there's a good mix of tempos and sounds. Particular favourites include two of the 'slower' tunes: Ashford & Simpson's "Over & Over" and Bobby Caldwell's "Down For The Third Time". I can't remember the last time I heard Narada Michael Walden's "Tonight (I'm Alright)" and Kleer's "I Love To Dance" so to hear them refreshed and revitalised is a truly joyous experience. Good work, Joey. Essential purchase.

Big disco sounds. Joey Negro is a genius. I remember these tracks first time round buying them in Diamonds in West Croydon - he has given them a great fresh twist. Play loud.

A great album - every remix is different and they are all excellent.

Highly recommended.

Bought when it first came out, still listening to it.

The remix of Narada Michael Walden - I Shoulda Loved Ya is the highlight for me - pure class.
