My biggest complaint about the product-Microsoft Word was that it was an absolute nightmare to download it. It would have been much better if I could have been given a disk or disks from which to down load and then I would also have had a backup. After many tries and much difficulty I was not able to install the product with a couple of clicks as was suggested. In the end I asked Microsoft for help. It took the expert from Microsoft about an hour to install it after he eventually took control of my computer. The computer was a new and powerful one which I had recently also purchased from Amazon. I do not doubt the Microsoft operator 's expertise but he said that he had never experienced such frustration before. The product itself like so many of Microsoft's products are geared to the business world. They used to produce fairly simple products like Microsoft Works which was an integrated package and sufficient for the needs of most ordinary people and indeed most professionals. Why have they stopped making such simple yet excellent products and given us instead very expensive products with little more than new bells and whistles. I think that there is a gap in the market for simple products for ordinary people and I would urge Amazon to pursue manufactures of simple office software to manufacture affordable products that don't constantly offer too much help and allow you to get on with the job in hand.
