Good for short term entertainment, not that sturdy
on 26 May 2015
Little Trouble, who is 19 months old, quite likes this, and the balls are too big for her to fit in her mouth, which is very useful. Trouble has liked pushing the button to hear the music play and will sometimes dance to the music. However, we've had it for a year, as it was recommended as a baby toy, and it has its problems. It fits together quite snugly but as Trouble has learnt to stand and walk she has lent on the palm tree which frequently comes off, so it seems the top attachment is not sufficiently sturdy to be pulled against. Also, the monkey needs to be pushed quite hard for the palm tree to rotate, which is hard for Little Trouble to do, except by accident. Whilst it did have great novelty value when it arrived, in fact the balls seem to provide greater entertainment than the palm tree, as these are often kicked and chased around, whilst the palm tree is only played with for a short time, now very infrequently. So, from our experience, I'd say, worth getting for a bargain, or if you're looking for short term entertainment but not as a reliable longer use toy.
