Not as good as the Panasonic SD-2500
on 16 October 2014
I have had a Morphy Richards 48324 Breadmaker for a few years now, but it decided it wanted to go into retirement recently so I had to let it go. As I only use the basic white bread programme and occasionally the cake mix one, I decided that I didn't require the all singing, all dancing 48324 again and bought one of these instead. Unfortunately I then discovered that it does not have the drop down blade and I had to buy that as an extra; it fits, but it is a bit loose, so keeps ending up in the bread anyway. The bread is a bit stodgy.
Update: March 2015 - One of my friends gave me a loaf from her Panasonic bread machine to try and I discovered why everyone has been going on about how wonderful they are and worth the extra money compared to such as the Morphy Richards. So, I'm afraid that the M/R 48326 has gone to the local church jumble sale and I have ordered a Panasonic SD-2500 WXC Bread Maker. I would recommend that you do the same (I paid £84 for it from Amazon, but I have seen it as low as £78; may be cheaper on the marketplace).
