Unfortunately, like every chair I have ever owned, most of the parts are interchangable. The wheels/base/inflator are the same quality (and probably the same part number) that you'll find in pretty much any chair.
The top section of the chair is two pieces that attach together by the arm rests, so the arms cannot be removed. I like this chair because it is fabric, I dislike smooth leather chairs and this one is very comfortable to sit in.
It was fairly easy to assemble.
For the price I was hoping the base would be stronger, as I have had issues with the bases of all my previous chairs (Plastic legs snapping or metal base snapping), but we'll have to see how it holds out. Either way, I suspect I could replace the inexpensively as most of the price seems to be in the top section of the chair.
I would agree with the other reviewer that you're paying a bit more than you should, but it's a decent enough chair, and I paid over the odds because I specifically wanted fabric.
Edit: I've owned this chair for about 9 months, and unfortunately as I predicted may happen, one of the legs snapped. I promptly contacted the seller, and their customer service was amazing. Within a literally a couple of days, I had a replacement base from the manufacturer, made from metal to ensure it wouldn't happen again. If anyone is wondering, I'm a 6'2" male and I weigh 78kg (just over 12 stone).
The chair has been super comfortable for the 9 months so I am pleased to get a replacement base rather than have to find a new chair, as I find fabric chairs are not as common as leather but are much nicer.
