absolutely fantastic! My 2.5 yr old daughter won't stop watching it. It teaches spanish to children in a natural way, as well as dealing with maths and shapes. It encourages children to join in with her adventures through interactive play on screen. Brilliant! The only bad point (which is minor)is that American slang (ie broad walk etc.) is used instead of the correct queens english version. That can be annoying at times, because we have to translate and correct dora at times.

My 4 year old son loves Dora the Explorer and Dora Catch The Stars is of all Dora adventures his favourite DVD.
I even had to buy a new one to replace the old and scratched one that got stuck in the DVD player every 10 seconds.
Like in all her adventures, Dora is accompanied by his friend Boots the Monkey who helps her first find Woo-hoo, the Star Pocket.
These episodes about the stars on this DVD are excellent, entertaining and very educational.
My son absolutely loves helping Dora and jumps all over the place when Swiper the sneaky Fox tries to steal something.
I can hear him in the background repeat words, phrases or count in Spanish.
He is so happy to express himself and can name all the stars and explain what they do.
Glowy, Saltador and Tool Star are his favourites! Greatly recommnended.

Another great collection of stories about Dora and her friends. The only negative thing about this is the annoying American accents, but there is plenty to capture the imagination. The interactive stories encourage children watching to join in and the simple Spanish words and phrases introduce the concept of other languages in a natural way. The children I bought this for love watching the stories over and over again. Would definitely recommend.
