This DVD shows EC performing some of his most electric performances from his 24 Nights in the Albert Hall. The performance by EC is almost effortless, especially the footage from the blues nights which stands out from the others. Also check out the great versions of White Room & Wonderful Tonight. The only thing which dissapoints is the standard of the sound quality which is not absolutely crystal clear. This is a shame as to do it justice it should be played through a stereo. A loud one!. An essential purchase for any EC fan!

This is a fine recording of Claptons fabled Albert Hall concerts from the early 90's.

Starting with the 4 piece band you get:

Running on Faith

White Room

Sunshine of your Love

Then the Blues Band:

Watch Yourself

Have you ever loved a woman

Worried life blues

Then the nine piece band:

Pretending

Bad love

Old Love

Wonderful Tonight

The Orchestra and band:

Bell Bottom Blues

Hard Times

Edge of Darkness

This all done very professionally and there are some great moments interspersed with just a few I could have done without. The live version of the 'Edge of Darkness' theme is tremendously powerful, and the Blues set is my favourite overall. This has Jonnie Johnson on Piano and Robert Cray and Buddy Guy on Guitar.

Well worth buying overall.

This album is about musical ability.....not technical competence.
As such it is classic, albeit I do not understand previous comments, either, about the technician side of it because my copy is excellent. If you want to review musical technology.......then do so.......here is not the place for it.
Inline with most of ECs' live performances this is simply great.
I attended 2 of the live performances recorded on this album at the Albert Hall and was simply astonished.A great live album by any standards.

Great memories of the one of the concerts I went to in the early 90's. Shame there's not more tracks included. If you enjoy Clapron live it's worth adding this cd to your collection.

A superb concert featuring many favourites, would have preferred a better audio mix and a better picture format but regardless of this the performances were excellent.

Quick Service, great DVD for Eric Clapton fans. Main motivation for buying this DVD was the "Edge of Darkness" clip but it's good all through.

i think is the better ec exibition with blue's and rock songs, but the audio is simple a pcm linear stereo instead of dolby digital. But don't worry! you're going to see a beautiful concert with great musicians.
