Easily the most resonant production I've seen. Easily the most convincing performances of Cleopatra, Enobarbus and Caesar I've witnessed. I wish it was made available in the UK on DVD.

Just a fabulous collection and brilliant value. About 20, mainly pre WW2 artists are featured; some are stellar names-Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters ,Leadbelly, Bessie Smith, Big Bill Broonzy- some are known mainly to blues fans, for instance Mississippi John Hurt, John Lee Hooker,( back in the day, when he played solo-great!)Blind Willie McTell, Arthur Crudup(fab!) Bukka White, Memphis Minnie, Kokomo Arnold, Brownie McGhee and Lightnin' Hopkins. Sound quality is extremely clear and the selection provides a wide variety of music that isn't just "interesting", it's really enjoyable.
