Things That Matter: Three Decades of Passions, Pas&hellip by Charles Krauthammer

Charles Krauthammer is one of those rare Fox News journalists that does not turn my stomach. He is intelligent and thoughtful. He covers everything from stem cell research to civil rights.

His book is much of what you would imagine by the title: the things that matter.

I read it slowly, picking it up whenever I had the time of inclination to be informed.

It is easy to return to. Overall, a very good book for the times we live in.

I feel like FBI Special Agent Fox William Mulder from the X-Files: I Want To Believe.

**play creepy X-Files music**

Like the X-Files, while reading this book youíre totally hooked but when itís over youíre left with a bit of doubt.

Weird doubt. Weird doubt is good doubt. And I Want To Believe.
Happy, Happy, Happy: My Life and Legacy as the Duc&hellip by Phil Robertson
4.0 out of 5 stars Happy Surprise, 12 Jun 2014
Before reading this memoir, Iíd never seen Duck Dynasty so this was a surprise. I like surprises and I liked this book as a result.

The title got me, but the writing kept me.

A little heavy on the evangelicalism but then it is the manís memoir and he can write whatever the heck he pleases.

At the end of the day, itís an entertaining book and thatís why I read.
