LEGO Mini Figure Display Case (Yellow) by LEGO

What can I say? This minifig display case is rather lovely. So lovely, in fact, that I've now bought my second one.

The case is made of a really rather sturdy plastic, in classic Lego yellow. The frontage is transparent, and folds down on a hinge. Thankfully, it also doesn't reflect light too badly, so you get a pretty clear view of the lego inside.

The plates to stand your minifigs are 6x4 in size, so you get plenty of space per minifig. Each one can easily hold a utensil with space to space.

If you have a collection of special minifigs, this case is a must buy.

I bought this for my 30 year old (me). He loves it.

There are some nice little details in this set, including a falling axe, working trapdoor to make your minifigs fall through, and a collapsing pillar. As well as the initial play value, this set will be a good basis for other models based around Roman architecture, due to the pillars and sloped roof it comes with.

The fact that it comes with four minifigs, a giant crab and a submarine with grabbing hands only increases its playability.

Absolutely well worth [].

I should begin by saying that this review is not a review of the novel, but a review of the physical paperback book itself.

Frankly, this Hyperion reprint of Heat Wave is the worst physical book that I've ever had the misfortune to purchase. It's comparable to the worst books that you don't want but get for free with a glossy magazine. The paper stock that's been used is cheap, rough and off-white. The type used is tiny, and forced incredibly close to the edge of the pages. Because of all this, the physical book itself is tiny and thin. I've not even read a single page yet, and I'm already dreading it. This should not be my reaction to getting to read a novel based around a TV… Read more
