5.0 out of 5 stars Great reimagining, 14 Oct 2012
XCom Ufo Enemy Unknown is a great game that taxes your grey matter like a game of chess but holds a visceral grip like a good fps. Tension is key and if you find that you're pretty good at this sort of thing and the xenomorphs are biting the bullet too easily, you can just turn up the difficulty level.
I've been waiting 18 years for a successor to the XCom series and Firaxis have done a great job here.

5.0 out of 5 stars Enjoying this game, 26 Jun 2012
This has renewed my interest in my 3ds. I'm only playing single player but it's strangely satisfying beating up beasties and collecting loot.
Support UK software developers (Square Enix London office)and this type of game.
Once I'm more confident with the controls, I'll go online to find some fellow dungeon-delvers (where the real fun begins apparently).
I would say that toning down the 3d effect helps, as I found it difficult to follow the character ramped to max.
Hoya 77mm HD Digital Protector Screw-in Filter by Hoya
5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Filter, 30 Mar 2011
As you would expect from the cost of this item, Hoya has produced a premium quality filter. It is a step up from their usual stuff and I would say it is on a par with Heliopan filters.
