This is tiny, great for the pocket. I have found it gives good readings but you do have to push the prongs into the log quite firmly. Brilliant for checking to see if our logs are ready to burn.
I bought this for a friend who has three cats and is keen on crafts. I loved it so much I have bought one for my mum too. The main point of the book is to make the felted cats and little cat decals but the information about cats in general, and the cats that have given up their hair for the benefit of the book, is charming. It clearly shows the techniques for wet felting (for the cat finger puppet) and also needle felting for the decals. Even if you don't get around to doing the felting it is a lovely book to read for a cat lover.
