No Time to Lose: A Life in Pursuit of Deadly Virus&hellip by Peter Piot
Peter Piot focuses on the battle against Ebola and AIDS/HIV across the world, from when they first occured to treatment and perhaps an eventually cure. The story of the fight to get everyone to pull together to fight these conditions gives a great deal of hope for the future.

I enjoy a good story and Lee Child's Jack Reacher series is one of my favourites. However, The Affair was so familiar I kept thinking I must have read it before, but how is that possible when it is only just published?

It must be that so many of the elements of the story have been in other Jack Reacher stories. I almost feel like going back and re-reading the rest, but I can't be bothered and it puts me off read future Reacher's too. What a shame.

'A remainder of One' was a great hit in my Year 3 class. Everyone enjoyed Joe's adventures and learnt all about division with remainders at the same time. The setting and numbers involved meant that everyone could participate. The bug army's chant rapidly became the class chant and when we dramatised the story for an assembly everyone had a great time! A very useful book on many levels.
