Worked OK to start with, but within 4 months the left mouse button started to auto-double-click when single-clicked, even with double-click set at slowest speed. I have used a mouse for 15 years - it isn't me. Infuriating. Another manufacturer to be crossed off the list, and the search begins again.
Don't waste your money - it does not work. The mice enter, eat the food, and leave by the helpful little plastic door. I also tried it with longer cans, but no success.
Like another reviewer, I found that it didn't work for some time. But I persevered, and indeed, started catching many mice (field mice that get into the house, who knows how?). Day after day, I caught and released probably 100 mice in total. After several months, I was baffled when the food was disappearing, but no mice were inside. I have now seen with my own eyes, not once but three times, a Houdini mouse exit the trap by catching the see-saw and pushing it down from the inside. Whether the spring has become weak, or it is just one exceedingly clever (and now very fat) mouse, I do not know.
