4.0 out of 5 stars nice neat backpack, 26 May 2013
Bought for carrying macbook. Very happy with quality and capacity. Like how it looks - neat and doesn't look heavy and bulky because it is a well designed. Comfort of the straps on shoulders and carrying position is fair enough for a commuter, and is improved considerably by the good quality padding. Even though this bag is roomy enough for a couple of a4 writing pads as well as well as laptop, phone ,player and kindle and charger. I held back from giving 5 stars because it doesn't have an outside pocket to carry the essential water bottle or a folding umbrella in a separate compartment from my electronics.

4.0 out of 5 stars mid century classic, 5 July 2012
Nicky and Tacy ( not Ricky and Lucy ;-P) buy a huge dream trailer and the aqua coloured dream Mercury Monterey convertible v8 to pull it. They head off on an open roads of the American Dream for a honeymoon/newly - wed adventure. This isn't Jack Kerouac - but it is a visual feast of U.S. mid-century design. Her dresses are beautiful in this. If you already love Lucy then you won't be dissappointed by this. (the four stars is because the format is the original cinema ratio so it looks kind of small and has black border )
The Lost Art Of Walking: The History, Science, Phi&hellip by Geoff Nicholson
While it is a VERY thorough piece of research it misses so many opportunities of being a good read. I'm comming at this as an avid reader and enthusiastic walker. It is such a rich topic that I suppose I found that it was frustrating to see so much potential ( enough for at least 10 books in there) just touched upon and not really explored on the page. I would not recommend this for anyone unless they are researching the subject area for a college paper- the bibliography alone would be very useful for that.
