Better Off Dead (Victor the Assassin Book 4) by Tom Wood

Wow - everyone's been giving this five stars. Amazing!

I love the Victor series, but sadly this has not been a notable addition.

The story is cliched in the extreme, has Victor well out of his comfort zone and (without giving spoilers) would have the reader questioning some of the actions he made along the way.

A for instance would be gratuitously punching out individuals and putting oneself into a situation that Victor would never have put himself into.

It's not a patch on the previous books. Victor is worth so much more than this.

You can do better Tom!

Neat stylish case for the HTC One. Great quality and the phone feels really protected.

The stoppers in the charging port and headphone socket are a nice touch.

As well as the telegraphed ending, what really upset me were the glowing recommendations on the back cover. Sunday Telegraph; Mail on Sunday; Scotland on Sunday... until you realise after… Read more
