5.0 out of 5 stars The hero has Aspergers, 14 Mar 2014
Partrick plans to become an anatomist and his costudents are medical students. They are dissecting a cadaver. Parick's Aspergers means he is unemotional and has a robot-like personality makes the other students uncomfortable and he is considered weird. However, Patrick discovers a peanut in the throat of the cadaver who was allergic to them. He realises that this is a deliberate killing and will not be stopped from finding out the reason and the culprit.

Very exciting and keeps your attention!
Hurt (DS Lucy Black) by Brian McGilloway
Hurt (DS Lucy Black) by Brian McGilloway
Brian McGilloway is a wonderful storyteller and Sergeant Lucy Black is a very admirable character. The first case is a young girl lying on a train line with her windpipe severed. The murderer no doubt thought that once a train ran over her it would be assumed that she had committed suicide.

Lucy's relationship with her mother who is a very senior officer in the force, is interesting and at times extremely tense.

I enjoyed this very much and plan to read more of Brian McGilloway's books.
