A great read and good enough to tempt me to part with my hard earned cash for the sequel. An imaginative and gritty novel that, as a veteran, I can relate to. This a is tale of a man turned military cyborg who, after serving the cause and outliving his usefulness, involuntarily joins the ranks of discarded cannon fodder. He is a cynic, desperado, survivor and finally hero in a world drained of hope after decades of war. This is an enjoyable read and suffice to say I am happy to, after buying and reading this book, recommend that you do too.
