The Girl's Guide to Homemaking by Amy Bratley
Surprisingly good!
Had no expectaions when I picked this book up apart from the fact that I liked the cover.
Was pleased to find it was also a great read.
Nice cast of characters and a bit different from normal chick lit. My only criticism is that the ending seemed a bit to quick and obvious.Still enjoyed it though!

For me the last two or three Sheila O'Flanagan books have just been "OK".

Would recommend this as a good chick lit novel. Not overly taxing to read so what's not to like?

I liked that way that the book was structured so that the chapters alternated between the four women as we followed them through the years. I felt that this worked well rather than telling each… Read more
