Isabel's Independence by Mariella Starr
Isabel's Independence by Mariella Starr
4.0 out of 5 stars A lighhearted read, 20 July 2014
As long as you don't expect anything more than light reading then you will enjoy this. The characters are quite well developed and it is easy to empathize with the heroine. Having a secondary story going on at the same time helps to keep up the interest level.
Caught in the Net (The General's Daughter Book 3) by Breanna Hayse
3.0 out of 5 stars A very strange ending, 19 July 2014
This started well but I felt it never really got going. It reads like an introduction. The story continues with the characters from the previous two books and introduces two new ones who provide the love interest for Michael and Sam. But nothing much happens and the ending is so abrupt. It isn't even a cliffhanger just frustratingly unfinished.
Master My Love (Decadence L.A. Book 1) by Maddie Taylor
3.0 out of 5 stars A bit too short, 16 July 2014
This was good but too short to allow the characters to be fully developed. I would have liked more about Val and Eric. We didn't really get a chance to get to know them very well. Other characters are mentioned in the passing but we don't find out much about them either. Very frustrating.
