In My Own Words:
Hi! Thanks for looking at my profile, Here's a little bit about me then, & the kind of stuff I like.

I love music - but only great music of course! I've also recorded & performed my own songs (& once played in a band) & sometimes attend open mic nights where I sing/play guitar.

I enjoy comedy club nights & rock gigs, & also walks/pubs in the English countryside near to where I live... & life'… Read more

The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time by Mark Haddon
5.0 out of 5 stars In Dog we Trust..., 15 Sep 2014
I knew nothing about this book when I picked it up, other than it was very well-regarded. So it was with some hesitancy that I started reading but, as the highly-unusual story of 15-year-old Christopher, the boy with Asperger's syndrome who narrates the story unfolded, I was truly captivated.

Erotic Gaze: An M/M Steamy Romance Novella (London&hellip by Julie Farrell
5.0 out of 5 stars The Art of Eroticism!, 12 Sep 2014
I've thoroughly enjoyed Julie Farrell's 'London Loves' trilogy, & this latest spin-off novella centring on the characters of Scott & Paul is a very welcome addition to the series.
Scott & Paul were 'side' characters in the previous books, but I really liked them, & here they take centre-stage in their own right as we get to know them in even more intimate detail than ever before!

The story is based around an event that artist Scott is organizing at his gallery in London, & how he has booked his favourite artist (the wonderfully rock'n'roll-sounding Kate Jagger) to stage an exhibition of her work.
This all sounds straightforward, until a slight misunderstanding in a… Read more
