The Secret Dead by SW Fairbrother
The Secret Dead by SW Fairbrother
5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent read, 8 Jun 2014
Whenever I read a book by someone I know, or have met, there's always a small dread that I won't like it; that perhaps it will be poorly written, or poorly edited. But that certainly wasn't the case with The Secret Dead. I loved this book, an excellent pace, absolutely believable characters and though it doesn't exactly end on a cliff hanger, I am eager to discover what;s in store for the characters. Brilliant, I do recommend it!
The Mystery of Mercy Close by Marian Keyes
The Mystery of Mercy Close by Marian Keyes

Marian Keyes is always worth a read. As a counsellor I appreciated her personal point of view of depression. And I have my own version of the Shovel list, so I enjoyed that very much. The Walsh family are so much fun. Add to that Keyes's fabulous Irish voice, and I'm glad I've spent the last day or so with Marian Keyes. Looking forward to the next book.
