Bf 110 Vs Lancaster: 1942-45 (Duel) by Robert Forczyk

Having bought 1/48th scale kits of both these aircraft i was looking around for books to use as reference for the builds, this came up in my recommendations so having done a little online research i thought i`d take a chance on it.
Whilst this is a typical Osprey Book (well written and researched) it is woefully lacking in images, both photos and illustrations.
Normally i would rave about Osprey books,i own about three dozen of them !,but this one falls into the "could do better" category, especially with all the large scale kits that are out there.

If you`ve bought the Academy kit then you definately need this,as it sharpens up the most prominent feature of the kit - namely the anti-RPG shields on the outside of the vehicle. The limits put on the injection moulding process means that the kit shields are way out of scale, having bought Meng`s Achzarit kit which comes with shields included just makes these look awful.

Having had a love of the female form for a long as i can remember i bought this book from my list of recommendations.I was delighted when it arrived but boy was i shocked with the size !. I know that the old addage says size is`nt everything but this book is TINY.
This means that many of the great photos inside are lost because the detail is just too small.
Recommended as a taster,Nothing more.
