This is a practical no nonsense guide that chapter by chapter takes your hand and leads through the maze and mayhem of buying. The chapter on what to look for when viewing a property certainly saved me from getting caught up in the excitement of seeing something I really liked. But for the book, I'd have actually missed the mushrooms growing behind the door... Don't view a property without it...

As someone with zero stats background, and who needed to be able to read and make sense of scientific articles and to quickly get up to speed on stats for an MSc, this was an essential (and even enjoyable!) read and reference book.
